Terms of Service

FORGE is an AI-powered website builder SaaS that generates Next.js website code based on user prompts and descriptions. Our service:

• Generates website code using Anthropic's Claude AI
• Provides output in Next.js 15, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• Allows deployment to Vercel or other hosting platforms
• Is provided "AS-IS" without warranties

You acknowledge that: Generated websites are AI-produced. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated code before deployment. FORGE provides no guarantees regarding functionality, security, or fitness for any particular purpose. You must conduct thorough testing and security reviews before deploying generated code to production.

To use FORGE, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials
• Take responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Maintain only one account per person (except where explicitly authorized)

You are responsible for all activity on your account, whether authorized by you or not. We are not liable for unauthorized access caused by your negligence or failure to protect your credentials.

You agree not to use FORGE for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:

• Generating websites for illegal activities, gambling, or adult content
• Creating phishing pages, malware distribution sites, or other fraudulent content
• Generating content that harasses, defames, or abuses others
• Infringing third-party intellectual property rights or using copyrighted material without permission
• Generating websites designed for spam, mass-market solicitation, or malicious hacking
• Violating the terms of service of third-party platforms (Vercel, hosting providers, etc.)
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to FORGE
• Using FORGE to train competing AI models without permission

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

Your Generated Code: You own the source code and generated websites created through FORGE for your account. You may use, modify, deploy, and distribute the generated code as you see fit.

FORGE Intellectual Property: The FORGE platform, UI, features, algorithms, and infrastructure remain our sole property. You may not copy, replicate, or redistribute FORGE's technology, branding, or design.

Third-Party Components: Generated code may include third-party open-source libraries (React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, etc.). These libraries are governed by their respective licenses, which are your responsibility to comply with.

AI Output Limitations: While you own the generated code, FORGE retains the right to use non-identifying generation patterns and anonymized outputs to improve our AI models.

IMPORTANT: You acknowledge and agree that:

• Generated websites are produced by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, bugs, security vulnerabilities, or incomplete code
• FORGE does not guarantee accuracy, functionality, security, or fitness for any particular purpose
• You must conduct thorough code review, security testing, and quality assurance before deploying any generated code
• You are solely responsible for the performance, security, and compliance of any generated website
• FORGE is not liable for damages, data loss, or security breaches resulting from generated code
• Generated code may include security vulnerabilities that require remediation

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• FORGE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption
• FORGE is not liable for third-party actions or services (Vercel, Stripe, Clerk, Anthropic, etc.)
• Your total liability against FORGE for any claim is limited to the lesser of: (a) the fees paid by you in the last 3 months, or (b) $100
• Some jurisdictions do not allow liability limitations, so this clause may not fully apply to you

We strive to maintain FORGE with 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue FORGE (or any features) at any time without notice. We are not liable for temporary outages, maintenance, or service interruptions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notification on the FORGE platform. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Termination by You: You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through your dashboard. Upon termination, you may export your generated sites, but account data will be deleted after 30 days.

Suspension by Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if: (a) you violate these terms; (b) you engage in illegal activity; (c) you create spam or fraudulent content; or (d) you fail to pay outstanding fees. Upon termination, you lose access to FORGE, and we are not obligated to provide refunds.
