Refund Policy

1. Overview

At FORGE, we stand behind our service. If you're not satisfied with your subscription, we want to make it right. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are available.

2. Free Tier (Spark Plan)

The Spark plan is completely free and does not require payment. No refunds apply to the free tier, as there are no charges.

3. Monthly Subscription Plans (Forge & Studio)

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment for monthly plans. If you are not satisfied with FORGE within 7 days of your initial charge, you are eligible for a full refund.

Eligibility:

  • Applies only to the first month of subscription (trial conversions or new paid upgrades)
  • Must be requested within 7 calendar days of the charge date
  • One refund per account (exceptions reviewed case-by-case)

After 7 Days:

After the 7-day period, refunds for monthly subscriptions are not available. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not refund the current billing period.

4. Annual Subscription Plans

Extended Refund Window

For annual subscriptions, we provide a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied within 14 calendar days of your annual charge, you are eligible for a full refund.

Pro-Rated Refunds (After 14 Days):

If you request a refund after 14 days but within 60 days of your annual charge, we will consider pro-rated refunds on a case-by-case basis. Contact us with your circumstances, and we will evaluate your request fairly.

After 60 Days:

Refunds are not available for annual subscriptions after 60 days. You may cancel your subscription to prevent future annual charges.

5. Cancellation vs. Refunds

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until your billing period expires.

Refunds: Refunds are only available within the specified refund windows (7 days for monthly, 14 days for annual). Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically process within 5-10 business days.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable: (a) taxes or other governmental charges; (b) charges outside the refund window; (c) API overages on Studio plans beyond included limits; (d) custom features or consulting services (if available).

7. How to Request a Refund

Process:

  1. Email billing@forgeyoursite.dev with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include the following information:
    • Your account email address
    • Date of the charge you wish to refund
    • Reason for the refund request
    • Any additional context or explanation
  3. We will review your request and respond within 2 business days
  4. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days

Response Time: We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays).

8. Special Circumstances

Service Issues: If you experience technical problems, bugs, or service outages that significantly impact your ability to use FORGE, please contact us. We will work to resolve the issue. If unresolved, we may offer a partial refund or account credit.

Billing Errors: If you are charged incorrectly (duplicate charges, wrong plan, unauthorized charges), contact us immediately. We will investigate and issue a refund if an error is confirmed.

Account Suspension: If your account is suspended due to violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued.

9. Refund Processing and Fees

Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and returned to your original payment method.

Bank Processing: Your bank may take additional time to credit the refund. We recommend contacting your bank if the refund is not visible after 10 business days.

No Restocking Fees: FORGE does not charge restocking fees or other deductions for refunds within the eligible window.
